The Seen – Official blog for EXPO CHICAGO

This week on The Seen, we published an interview with Chicago artist Caroline Carlsmith. Carlsmith’s recent work includes drawing 45 life-size Calamus plants, based on Walt Whitman’s poems from Leaves of Grass (1860), and a project titled 100 Days of Kimbo Slice.

Next, we featured two exhibitions on view at Annely Juda Fine Art. A London gallery exhibiting at EXPO CHICAGO’s September debut, Annely Juda presents exhibitions by Roger Ackling and Peter Kalkhof. The Seen also featured the Museum of Contemporary Photography’s opening show Survival Techniques. Written by an Assistant Curator from MoCP, this guest post provides a unique look at conceiving and organizing the show.

Finally, we published a post on a series of NYC gallery visits. These incredible shows range from Ryan McNamara at Elizabeth Dee, to Polly Apfelbaum at D’Amelio Gallery and Franklin Evans at Sue Scott Gallery.

Urban Life, Collected – Official blog for The Lofts at Roosevelt Collection

The Roosevelt Collection team wrote about two upcoming resident events that will be hosted at The Lofts. As tax season comes to an end, South Loop’s Fitness Formula will provide 10-minute complimentary massages on Sunday, April 15 to help relax residents. In addition, the management team at Roosevelt Collection teamed up with Weather Mark Tavern to host a resident social with complimentary appetizers and drinks.

Furthermore, we continued to unveil the faces of Roosevelt Collection by featuring a Service Spotlight post on Scott Thielbar, the Assistant Manager at The Lofts. Finally, Dan McCaffery gave residents a development update on the property.

Simply Magnificent Official blog for The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Chicago, Magnificent Mile

This week on Simply Magnificent, we featured the upcoming Architecture & Design Film Festival. This year’s festival returns to Chicago with an exceptional selection of films, a PechaKucha, panel discussions and an Audi architecture tour.

Next, we published a piece in a series on the private art collection being curated exclusively for The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Chicago. We featured Chicago-based artist Cristina SIlvestri, who’s painting will hang in The Landmark Club’s Spa. Classically trained in Europe, Silvestri is an emerging artist rising to prominence. Artists Nick Cave, Carolyn Ottmers, Cristina Silvestri, Matthew Woodward, Tim Anderson and Vik Muniz are currently represented in the collection.
