Inspired by the innovation and striking visual impact of the building’s vertical landscaping system, we sought a name related to green space, abundance and growth. Verdana draws from the word verdure, defined as lush, green vegetation or a condition of freshness. The name is unique, welcoming and inspired, much like the architecture and residences themselves — and set the stage for the visual identity, which draws upon the greenery cascading down from the building’s terraces.

Conceived as a refined expression of innovative design and curated service, Optima Verdana® embraces the rich character of the town of Wilmette, with a distinctively fresh vision for sustainability and sophisticated living.
