They achieve impact through our engaging and effective neurofeedback programs that harness consumer technology in an immersive gaming environment that is controlled by brain activity, delivered on a platform for in-home behavioral interventions.

Otherwise worked with the founders of this emergent welltech company to illuminate their extraordinary approach to addressing ADHD in young adults. Starting with a thoughtful brand strategy that allowed us to weave together critical elements of the offering — science, technology and design — we landed on the name Gambit Labs. The name draws its distinction from the notion of a gambit — a deliberate action taken to gain an advantage. Popularly associated with an opening chess move in which the player makes a sacrifice, typically of a pawn, for the sake of some compensating advantage, the notion of a gambit has been associated with cleverness and gaming for centuries. Paired with labs, which references the science rooted in their approach to reinforcing adaptive brain functions through neurofeedback therapy, the name Gambit Labs embodies an inspired, technology- and gaming-forward approach to improving mental health and wellness.

To embody the naming, we established the tagline — Play your way to a healthier brain — which set the stage for the Gambit Labs visual identity, composed of a maze-like mark, clean sans serif type and a color/pattern palette reflective of a sophisticated immersive gaming experience.

Our work with Gambit Labs continues as they come to market.
