And just like any client project, we started by understanding what makes Michelle tick, and her vision for a new Memphis. This led us to imagine a simple but inspiring idea: BELIEVE BIGGER. And along with it, a comprehensive, interdisciplinary platform for governance that we named WHOLE CITY MEMPHIS:

For those who believe that people thrive when they participate in making their cities vibrant, inclusive and sustainable, BELIEVE BIGGER is a once-in-a-generation movement, led by Michelle McKissack in her bid to become the first woman mayor in the history of Memphis. She invites residents to take action for lasting and radiating impact BY fostering and harnessing the power of social trust so that all can safely flourish at a time when Memphians hunger for the leadership needed to build an inspired model for “whole city” living in the Mid-South.

Over the course of five months, we learned what it was like to be on call 24/7 with our campaign support with standout social media, digital marketing, multi-platform advertising, collateral, signage, merch. And in the end, in spite of a loss, we watched this phenomenal candidate contend with a field of 17 and build a passionate, energized following. We haven’t seen the end of Michelle McKissack, that’s certain.
