Dedicated to providing next-generation technology to the assisted living industry, Medtelligent developed and built ALIS (Assisted Living Intelligent Solutions) from the ground up, creating a set of tools that supports effective operation in assisted living communities across the country. On the cusp of major expansion of their platform and footprint, ALIS enlisted Otherwise to define their brand, and position it for scale and impact.
We lead a process of introspection and discovery, setting the stage for a crisp, compelling and authentic new vocabulary that crystallizes ALIS’ distinctive position, offerings and outcomes. To inspire confidence and trust in their services, we conceived a point of view around their human-centric and service-driven approach that positions ALIS as a vital tool for supporting, enhancing and empowering all participants.
The brand messaging is punctuated by the tagline, Welcome Change. The tagline puts forth a fresh, energetic, smart and optimistic call to action — specifically aimed at “enlightened assisted living communities committed to an exceptional quality of life.” At the same time, “Welcome” functions as an adjective that modifies “change,” a further reflection on the mandate for the industry to evolve.
With brand messaging in place, we turned to visual identity. At the heart of this bright, energetic and optimistic visual identity: their logo, a butterfly warm-toned overlapping shapes. Representing metamorphosis, the logo we created establishes ALIS as an agent of change.
To further communicate their vision, capabilities and culture, we created their new website. Marked by fresh design, ample white space and a vibrant color palette that reflects their visual identity system, the website serves as a cornerstone in fielding interested prospects, providing quick access to information, displaying the ALIS values and positioning ALIS as innovators and thought leaders.
