Optimized for accessing valuable site content on-the-go, the new mobile platform delivers news, imagery and project information through a clean, simple user experience.

Chicago Lakeside Development website goes live

Otherwise designed and developed the website for Chicago Lakeside Development, a joint venture between McCaffery Interests and United States Steel Corporation to redevelop the Southworks steel site in Southeast Chicago. Through narrative, photographic and illustrative content, the website illuminates the Lakeside brand as the global initiative for innovative, urban living and conveys the ambitious magnitude of the Lakeside undertaking.

Baird & Warner launches new branding campaign

Otherwise created a new branding campaign for Baird & Warner, a dominant force in Chicagoland real estate, to change the attitude around buying and selling homes. Positioning B&W as "the voice of the consumer" in the marketplace, the campaign raises awareness about the positive dimensions of home buying and selling and effectively informs buyers, sellers, brokers and the public. Evidence of the campaign - billboards and outdoor displays, transit advertising, print, video, email marketing and direct mail - will be visible online and offline everywhere throughout northern Illinois.

SHIFT launches as a smart new brand.

For 14 months, Otherwise worked with Copyco Solutions, a leading provider of print and communication services, to complete a comprehensive repositioning initiative, enabling the company to re-emerge as SHIFT – a provider of communication supply chain solutions. Our work began with a groundbreaking business/brand strategy that lead to the new name, visual identity, website, social media program and collateral. We continue to lead the evolution of SHIFT’s social media presence by building community around communication supply chain practices and methodologies.

Wexler Wallace, a boutique litigation law practice in Chicago and Sacramento, hired Otherwise to showcase the firm’s outstanding expertise and thought leadership. We conceived and developed a new website and companion blog, with a focus on transparency, clarity, and clear point of view about legal issues of the day, and continue to manage the firm’s social media strategy day-to-day.

The new website and blog for Chicago’s Society of Contemporary Art go live.

Since its founding in 1940, the Society for Contemporary Art (SCA) has followed a clear and precise path: to promote a better understanding and appreciation of the art of our time at the Art Institute of Chicago. Through its annual series of lectures and events, the Society has become one of the museum's principle vehicles for exploring new and challenging art, offering its members access to a roster of national and international artists, historians, dealers, and curators in Chicago and major art centers both here and abroad. In celebrating its 70th anniversary the SCA selected Otherwise to translate its vision into a new website and social media platform.

The site we created is both beautiful and simple; robust yet easy to navigate. It provides information about the SCA’s broad program of events and lectures, along with online registration and ecommerce.

When Chicago Dog Walkers decided it was time to reflect the excellence of their service and acknowledge their outstanding reputation through a new website, the company tapped Otherwise for the project. The new site is a celebration of the entire CDW community—including CDW’s clients, their dogs and their incredible walkers.

ONE MAGNIFICENT LIFE—Otherwise's new branding campaign for Prudential Rubloff—launches in Chicago.

To help reflect the new brand created when Prudential Preferred Properties and Rubloff merged in late 2009, the company turned to Otherwise to develop a sweeping new creative campaign. We built the campaign upon a fresh, new positioning of ONE MAGNIFICENT LIFE, and created a comprehensive print advertising program with a set of brand assets—color, design templates, messaging and imagery—that Prudential Rubloff has continued to use in-house to create a broad range of marketing materials.

The Leapfrog Online website goes live, ushering in a new positioning for this digital marketing brand.

As Leapfrog Online continues to build its unique expertise and expand its offerings, Otherwise helped redefine their competitive frame of reference from digital direct marketing to a strategic digital marketing capability, leveraging Leapfrog Online’s unique pay-for-sales compensation model. Otherwise then articulated the first expression of the new positioning through the design of a new website.

With a great portfolio and a tired website, HPA turns to Otherwise to redesign its online presence.

It isn’t unusual for architects to focus on clients and neglect their own marketing assets, and this has certainly been the case with Hartshorne Plunkard Architects, an award winning, full service architecture, interior and planning design firm located in Chicago’s Fulton Market District. To rectify the situation, HPA turned to Otherwise to design a new website that showcases the exemplary work, while providing the HPA team with the tools they need to continue to manage the site’s content.

The Merchandise Mart kicks off DreamHome 2009, with Otherwise as its creative partner. Setting the stage with a fresh visual identity and "The Door is Open" tagline, we designed the banners, advertising, website/html emails and collateral, and provided the Mart team with a set of brand assets to continue to create marketing communications for the entire 8-month campaign.

Luxury real estate development on the Magnificent Mile in Chicago taps Otherwise as creative agency.

On the NW corner of Michigan Avenue and Erie, you’ll see the early signs of construction on the new Ritz-Carlton Residences—88 magnificent homes—in a stunning high rise designed by Chicago's own Lucien Lagrange that preserves the elegance of the landmark Farwell Building that has stood on the corner since the 1920s. With complete construction funding in place and a significant number of homes already sold, Prism Development has tapped Otherwise to help showcase The Ritz-Carlton Residences brand, including the creation of a new website and advertising.

Otherwise helps launch a new organic olive oil brand.

The founders of Tierra Madre California, a family-owned and family-operated olive oil company, brought Otherwise on board to develop their Tierra Madre brand. Working with longstanding environmentalists with a steadfast commitment to organic foods, Otherwise designed the logo and sustainable packaging for the company’s line of organic olive oils.

Milwaukee developer hires Otherwise to rebrand one of the city’s premier condo projects.

Under the ownership of NAJR Properties, the stunning 33-story Kilbourn Tower is undergoing a dramatic transformation, with help from Otherwise. The new logo, website, marketing kit, sales center and advertising will reflect the building’s elegance and commitment to providing "an elevated state of living."

Otherwise leverages not-for-profit and technology experience to develop endowment support website.

In late 2008, the Francis W. Parker School, a distinguished K-12 independent school in Chicago, began a project to fund their endowment by allowing students, parents and alumni to sponsor seats in their new auditorium. They turned to Otherwise to design and build the website that allows site visitors to select their seat, write the dedication, and make their payment. When the sponsorship site, www.supportfwp.org, initially went live, it also allowed visitors to purchase tickets to an endowment fund benefit concert starring Sheryl Crow that was held March 7th in the school’s new auditorium.
